Cool quotes by C.S. Lewis
There are two kinds of people: those who say to God, ‘Thy will be done,’ and those to whom God says, ‘All right, then, have it your way.’
Education without values, as useful as it is, seems rather to make man a more clever devil.
Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.
God cannot give us a happiness and peace apart from Himself, because it is not there. There is no such thing.
The future is something which everyone reaches at the rate of 60 minutes an hour, whatever he does, whoever he is.
If the whole universe has no meaning, we should never have found out that it has no meaning: just as, if there were no light in the universe and therefore no creatures with eyes, we should never know it was dark. Dark would be without meaning.
Miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see.
Purpose is one of the few single words that can answer a question everybody on earth asks as some point in their life: “Why am I here on this earth?”
Finding purpose and meaning in life is something that I am stoked to make the theme of this blog.
It is also something that I could write millions of words and thousand of pages or posts about, but if it doesn’t somehow click somewhere deep inside your soul, it’s not going to make much of a difference.
So my prayer is that these words will reach into your heart and touch your soul as you read. I hope that this blog will help to bring you into an awareness of who you are and why you are on this earth.
Living a purposed life is not for the privileged few. Every person on earth (yes, including you) is here for a purpose – a purpose unique and wonderful. Just because you haven’t discovered it yet, or perhaps you never even thought about it before, doesn’t mean that it does not exist. Only don’t give up the search. You might one day find the answer illuminating your heart like the morning sun. Or perhaps it will be like shimmering moonlight reflecting off dark waters at night. But it will be enough to help you find your way.
Welcome to A Purposed Life, where we’re not afraid to ask tough questions if they will lead us to the answers our heart seeks. Please stop by the “about” page and discover what you can expect here – something unique each day of the week on the theme of finding purpose, meaning, and love. Join us on Facebook. We’d love to hear from you and get to know you better!
